18th Annual Build-A-Thon Raises $60,000
Despite the soggy start, Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity’s 18th annual Build-a-Thon was a great success. Over 50 volunteers came together each day to build on the 16 townhome development on South Marshall Street in Hartford’s Asylum Hill neighborhood. The week long building blitz raised over $60,000 thanks to our generous sponsors (listed below) and our many dedicated volunteers.
The need for safe, decent, affordable housing is greater than ever, and the Build A Thon makes it possible for people living and working in the capitol region to come together to create change for families, neighborhoods, and communities.
