Gingerbread Show and Competition
Our Gingerbread Show and Competition was held in Blue Back Square December 6-9, 2012 to raise awareness and funding for Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program. Local pastry chefs, bakeries, corporate teams, youth groups, and individuals entered their edible gingerbread creations.
Women Build is a week-long build that will take place May 2-4. 2013 and is much more than a simple building project. Women Build brings women together to create something special- a home for a working family. Whether as a member of the construction crew, a support team member, or raising funds for the project, women have created amazing results while engaging in activities that inspire a sense of community.
