Community Service Volunteers
Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity partners with individuals from local civic groups, schools, and the judicial system who need to complete community service hours.
School/scholarship community service may be earned at the office and/or the worksites. If the interested individual would like to work community service hours at the Habitat office, an interview with each candidate individually should be scheduled for approval.
Court-ordered community service hours are to be earned only at the worksites. Individuals who must complete court-ordered community service need to contact the office to make an appointment and pick up a Community Service Information Packet. After the contract is received at the office and the skills survey is reviewed, the individual can email Turquoise D. Blue or call 860-541-2208, ext 108. to schedule his or her work hours.
Currently, community service opportunities may be available at the office. For appropriate placement within our organization, HAHFH reserves the right to know the offense related to court-ordered community service.
