Building On Faith 2009: Oct 1, 2 & 3

Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity (HAHfH) has just finished its annual Building on Faith Week where people of faith in Greater Hartford worked together constructing Habitat for Humanity houses on Guilford Street.

Habitat for Humanity promotes "The Theology of the Hammer" - the idea that service to our neighbors-in-need unites all faith traditions. During Building on Faith Week, Hartford Area Habitat engaged several area congregations to work on several Habitat houses in Hartford and, possibly, in surrounding towns.
